Blustery Weather Continues

UPDATE: The extreme cold warnings were lifted in all areas Wednesday afternoon.

---

More snow and off-lake squalls are expected for the end of the week.

Environment Canada has issued an extreme cold warning for Perth, Wellington and southern Grey counties, with temperatures expected to drop around -30 C Tuesday night and into early Wednesday morning.

Blowing snow will be a problem for some drivers.  Winds could gust up to 60 km/h from the southwest Wednesday and Thursday.

Residents are advised to cover up during the cold weather, as frostbite can develop within minutes on exposed skin, especially with the wind chill.
