UPDATE: Huron County OPP Investigate Double Fatality

Police are closing their investigation into the deaths of two people in Huron County.

After being called out to a home on Airport Line Wednesday morning, police found the bodies of a man and a woman.

After an investigation, police believe a 90-year-old man sustained a medical event which contributed to his death.

He was found just inside an open barn on the property.

His 83-year old wife went to check on her husband but fell victim to the extreme environmental conditions and was found outside on the property.

From January 3, 2018:

Huron County OPP continue to investigate a double fatality in the Municipality of Bluewater.

Police were called to a residence on Airport Line around 9am Wednesday morning to check on the wellbeing of the occupants.

Officers found two bodies in the home.

83-year-old Ada Triebner and 90-year-old Grant Triebner of Bluewater were each pronounced deceased at their residence.

The Huron County OPP Crime Unit assisted with this incident.   Foul play is not suspected.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
