GOJHL Wrap: Lincolns Lose to the Vipers

LaSalle scored four times in the first period and four times in the third to defeat St. Marys 9-2.

The Lincolns got goals from Daniel Cloutier and Michael Andrews.

The Vipers were led by Manny Silverio with a hat trick and an assist. Jack Bowler had a three point night with a goal and two assists. Max Sieberer struck twice for LaSalle.

Evan Morrison made 31 saves in a losing effort for the Lincolns. The Vipers Dershahn Stewart faced just 14 shots in the win.

London 3 Komoka 0

David Ovsjannikov stopped all 25 shots he faced to give the London Nationals a 3-0 win over Komoka.

Brandon Glover struck twice for the Nationals and Kyle Dawson also scored and had an assist.

The Kings were out shot 42-25. The Nationals were 2-4 on the power play.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
