South Perth Barn Fire Deemed Non-Suspicious

An early morning barn fire has been deemed not suspicious.

At 6am on Tuesday, members of the Perth South Fire Department, and local OPP, responded to a barn fire on Perth Line 16. Approximately 1,800 pigs were in the barn, all of which were lost.

No one was hurt in the blaze, and Perth Line 16 is open.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
