Lee Leads Cyclones to Victory

Jakob Lee did all of the scoring for the league leading Listowel Cyclones in their 2-1 win over Kitchener.

Lee put the Cyclones on the board at 4:37 of the first with a short handed, unassisted goal.

Both teams were held scoreless in the second. Blair Derynck tied the game for the Dutchmen midway throught the third but less than a minute-and-a-half-later Lee scored again, putting the Cyclones ahead for good.

Evan Reinhart made 20 saves for the Cyclones. Lucas Pfeil stopped 25 shots for the Dutchmen.

The Cyclones lead the GOJHL with 62 points, three more than second place Calendonia of the Golden Horseshoe Conference.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
