Local Hockey Teams Help Young Girl with Cancer

Two local hockey teams are looking to score to help a young girl affected by cancer.
The Arran-Elderslie IceDogs PeeWee team decided to have a hockey game to support the family of Brooklyn Hutton as she fights cancer.   They reached out to their local rivals, the TCDMHA Rebels PeeWee team, and scheduled a game for this Friday, January 12th, at 6pm in Chesley.

Word got out, and the little game, called the 'Rivalry Against Cancer', has become a big event.

The Bruce Labour Council is paying the costs of the ice. Local referees Richard Engel and Matthew Woodroffe are volunteering.   Members of Brooklyn's school will sing O' Canada.

MPP Bill Walker will present a live auction between the first 2 periods, and a big bake sale will take place, as well. The game is $5 admission for adults, kids under 10 are $2.
