Wanted Man Arrested After More Than A Decade

Grey County OPP have a man in custody, more than ten years after issuing a warrant for his arrest.

Police were contacted by the Canadian Border Services Agency at Toronto Pearson Airport earlier this week, stating they had a man in custody who was wanted by Grey County OPP on an outstanding arrest warrant from 2006.

The warrant had been issued for 66-year-old Kim Roman.

He was wanted on charges of production of cannabis marijuana, production of cannabis resin, and possession of cannabis marijuana for the purpose of trafficking. Those charges were the result of an investigation at a property on Southgate Rd. 14 in the Township of Southgate in September of 2006.

Grey County OPP officers took Roman into their custody Tuesday.

He was returned to the Chatsworth OPP Detachment where he was held pending a bail hearing in Owen Sound.
