Conserve Water Notice For Kincardine Next Week

Residents in Kincardine and surrounding areas are being asked to conserve water next week.

The Kincardine Water Treatment Plant will be undergoing a system upgrade from Tuesday to Friday.

The water plant will be offline and water will be supplied from the Huron-Kinloss Municipal well system.

Customers serviced by the Kincardine Water Treatment Plant -- including the former Town of Kincardine, Huronville, and the pipeline to Inverhuron -- are being asked to conserve water to ensure the well system can keep up with the demand.

Users are advised that the water from the Huron-Kinloss groundwater wells has higher levels of naturally occurring sodium and fluoride.   The water may have a different taste and colour, and the pressure could be different.

If you have any questions or concerns, contact the Kincardine Water Services office at 519 396-4660.
