Kincardine Hosts Ontario's Lieutenant Governor

Ontario's lieutenant governor will be in Kincardine on Tuesday.

The Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell will speak with students at the Davidson Centre in the morning.

She will then head to the Stoney Island Conservation Area, north of Kincardine, to officially open a section of trail. She will also meet with Kincardine Mayor Anne Eadie and other community leaders during a noon luncheon.

Dowdeswell's visit is part of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on Life on Land.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
