Public Information Sessions Wednesday On Wingham Policing Options

The future of policing in the Wingham ward of North Huron is the subject of public information sessions on Wednesday.

Representatives from the OPP, Wingham Police Service and the Township of North Huron will present information and answer questions at two sessions at the Wingham Town Hall Theatre.

The afternoon session runs from 3pm to 5pm, and the evening open house goes from 7pm to 9pm.

North Huron council has to make a decision by March whether to maintain the existing Wingham Police Service, or start the process of switching to the OPP.
