Knights Take Early Lead in Win Against Windsor

Evan Bouchard set up two of the Knights goals in London's 5-2 win over Windsor.

Five different Knights found the back of the net: Sergey Popov, Josh Nelson, Alex Formenton, Liam Foudy and Alec Regula.

Luke Boka scored both of the Spitfires goals.

Formenton's power play goal at 6:46 of the second would stand as the game winner.

Popov and Nelson scored in the first period giving the Knights a 2-0 lead heading into the second. Boka put the Spitfires on the board just 1:38 into the middle frame. Boka scored again early in the third.

Liam Foudy answered for London with just over three minutes left in the game, making it 4-2. Regula scored on an empty Spitfires net with 46 seconds left on the clock.

Joseph Raaymakers earned the win in net with 25 saves. Michael DiPietro stopped 23 of 27 shots for Windsor.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
