OHL Wrap: Otters Couldn't Stop Suzuki and Hancock

Owen Sound 4 Erie 1

Nick Suzuki had a hat trick in the Owen Sound Attack's 4-1 win over Erie. Kevin Hancock set up all three of those goals including Suzuki's empty netter with 24 seconds left.

Ethan Szypula had the Attack's other goal assisted by Brady Lyle and Maksim Sushkko.

Hayden Fowler scored for the Otters.

Mack Guzda earned the win with 23 saves. Daniel Murphy stopped 28 of 31 shots for Erie.

Kitchener 4 Guelph 2

Givani Smith scored and set up two more as the Kitchener Rangers beat Guelph 4-2.

Adam Liška, Connor Bunnaman, and Eric Guest also scored for Kitchener.

Mario Culina made 28 saves for the Rangers. Anthony Popovich stopped 34 shots for the Storm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
