Perth OPP Visit Rural Properties In Crime Prevention Blitz

Perth County OPP are making efforts to help rural residents prevent crime.

On Saturday, Members of the Perth County OPP and their auxiliary officers visited over 200 properties.

Residents were provided with Lock it or Lose It theft prevention tips.

Rural properties are an appealing target for criminals and Perth County OPP hope to work with homeowners and business owners to reduce property crime.

Residents are urged to review current security practices and report suspicious vehicles and persons immediately.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
