New Doctor Starts Work At Kincardine Emergency Department

Kincardine hospital will have a new Emergency Department Physician.

The Doctor Recruitment Committee helped bring Dr. Eric Huh to the South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Kincardine.

He will provide Emergency Department coverage in the Kincardine hospital effective immediately.

He completed his medical degrees at Western and the University of Toronto and has provided coverage in the ER since 2017. He has also filled in for physicians at the Medical Clinic.

“This exciting announcement is an important step towards our goal of achieving a full complement of family and Emergency Department physicians to meet the community health needs at our municipal clinic and the Kincardine hospital," says Kincardine Mayor Anne Eadie. "I would also like to express sincere appreciation to the Kincardine Family Physicians Group for their commitment and extraordinary effort in providing quality patient care in this challenging time."

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
