UPDATE: Missing Owen Sound Found

Michael Beckberger has been found and is being treated in hospital.

Owen Sound Police continue to actively search for a man missing since Friday morning.

Investigators say Michael Beckberger, 46, was sighted Friday afternoon in the Hanover area. It is believed he was traveling toward Walkerton.

Beckberger was last seen leaving the Grey Bruce Health Service on Friday at around 10:30am. Police and family are concerned for his well-being as he is dealing with some medical issues.

He is described as a white male, 5’7” tall, around 160 lbs, with short dark brown hair and scruffy facial hair. He was last seen wearing a dark winter coat, blue jeans and brown work shoes.

Anyone with information regarding Beckberger's whereabouts is asked to contact the Owen Sound Police Service at 519-376- 1234.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
