Road Conditions Could Deteriorate In Parts Of Midwestern Ontario

The commute home on Monday might be challenging for some local residents.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for people in North Perth and Southern Huron

Winter has returned bringing widespread total snowfall amounts reaching 10-15 cm by Monday evening.

A cold front and the associated weak low are expected to move slowly across Southern Ontario. Snow is spreading east into the region from Lower Michigan this morning and will continue this afternoon and into tonight as the disturbance moves through.

Environment Canada warns that road conditions could deteriorate as people head home from work Monday afternoon and evening. Poor winter driving conditions are expected including low visibility and accumulating snow on untreated roads.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
