Bruce Power Public Polling Begins

Bruce Power and Ipsos-Reid will conduct independent public opinion research over the coming days.

Ipsos-Reid will conduct phone surveys of residents in Bruce, Grey, and Huron counties.

Topics and issues will include support for nuclear power, attitudes toward Bruce Power, its Life Extension Program, and its role in the community.

The Major Component Replacement Project was named Canada's Largest Infrastructure project in 2017.

Bruce Power faces a Licence Renewal Hearing before the Nuclear Safety Commission in March in Ottawa. Public sessions will be held in Kincardine May 30 and 31.

Results of the polling will be available on the Bruce Power website.
