No Traffic Lights For Busy Blyth Intersection

Huron County's engineer says traffic at the intersection of Hwy. 4 and County Rd. 25 at the south end of Blyth does not justify traffic signals.

But Steve Lund says flashing yellow beacons on top of the stop signs on Road 25 as well as on the "Stop Signs Ahead" signs would be appropriate.

The flashing beacons should be installed next month.

Lund adds there is further development planned for the intersection and they'll be monitoring that closely to see if that results in enough traffic to justify traffic signals.
