Owen Sound Run Water Notice

There's a precautionary run water notice in effect for some vulnerable locations in Owen Sound.

The city says some water services are shallow or have previously frozen. Those Priority 1 locations have been told to run water to prevent freezing lines. And now 80 additional Priority 2 properties need to do the same.

Affected residents will not be billed for additional water, but will be billed based on historical usage for the season. Water distribution staff will be going door to door this week beginning on Tuesday to deliver these notices for Priority 2 locations.
