OPP Execute Search Warrant At Goderich Home

A Goderich man is facing drug trafficking and drug possession charges.

OPP officers from several units, along with the Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant Wednesday at a residence on Huron Rd. in Goderich.

Police seized fentanyl, methamphetamine, oxycodone pills, and marijuana. They also found drug trafficking equipment and cash.

Joel Hill, 52, is charged with possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine and oxycodone for the purposes of trafficking. He is also charged with possession of cannabis marijuana.

He was released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for March 19 in Goderich.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
