Talks Involve Bus Drivers In Bruce And Grey Counties

Talks between a school bus line and the union that represents drivers in Kincardine, Port Elgin, Wiarton and Owen Sound continue.

Representatives of First Student Canada and Unifor Local 4268 continue negotiations.

The union represents 330 drivers which have been in a legal strike position since December 10 of last year.

And while strike votes authorizing job action have been held, the union has not issued any notice.

Unifor Local 4268 President Debbie Montgomery says a collective agreement was reached in the Durham Region with First Student and work is continuing in the local area.
