UPDATE: Missing Walkerton Boy Found Safe

A Walkerton boy's family are relieved after reporting him missing after he failed to come home from school on Monday.

14-year-old Brandon Nielissen was last seen with an unknown man near the Tim Horton's in Walkerton heading towards Hanover on foot. His family and local police were concerned for his safety.

Nielissen has since been located in Walkerton and is safe.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
