Snow Removal Concerns In Chepstow

The Municipality of Brockton has received a letter describing unsafe sidewalk conditions in one of its villages.

The amount of snow in Chepstow has residents concerned since children are forced to walk on streets where traffic can become heavy during the hours children are waiting for buses.

Councillors took the letter to heart, and have reached out to the Bluewater District School Board to discuss improving safety in Chepstow, as well as all of the smaller villages around Brockton.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
