Wine And Cheese Tasting To Support Residential Hospice

The Municipality of Central Huron is hosting a fund-raiser for the Huron Residential Hospice next week.

The event will feature wine tastings from Seaforth-area Maelstrom Wineries, and Blyth Farm Cheeses will match their cheeses with the wines.

Music will be provided by the Central Huron Secondary School Jazz Band and they'll be joined by a Cultural Collective House Band that has helped the students get ready for the evening.

It starts at 7pm on Thursday, February 22nd in the upper hall of the Clinton Town Hall.

Tickets are $20.00 each and can be obtained at the Clinton Town Hall, Maelstrom Wineries, Blyth Farm Cheeses or the Huron Residential Hospice.

The evening will also include an art exhibit featuring the artwork of local seniors.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
