OHL Wrap: Gadjovich and Hancock Lead Attack to Victory

Owen Sound 4 Hamilton 3

Jonah Gadjovich and Kevin Hancock each scored twice and set up another in the Owen Sound Attack's 4-3 win over Hamilton.

Nick Suzuki set up two of the Attack's goals. Hancock's goal at 5:05 of the third would stand as the game winner.

Matthew Strome, Isaac Nurse and Arthur Kaliyev scored for the Bulldogs.

London 3 Windsor 1

Evan Bouchard and Liam Foudy each scored and had an assist in the London Knights 3-1 win over Windsor.

Alex Formenton had the Knights first goal of the game just 46 seconds into the first period. Bouchard's game winner came at 1:38 of the second and Foudy added insurance with less than a minute remaining on an empty Bulldogs net.

The Knights Nathan Dunkley picked up two assists in the win.

Kitchener 3 Ottawa 2

Kole Sherwood scored the game winner at 16:13 of the third period and the Kitchener Rangers held on to beat Ottawa 3-2.

Adam Mascherin opened the scoring for Kitchener at 5:44 of the second. Noel Hoefenmayer answered for the 67's just under ten minutes later.

Greg Meireles scored midway through the third for Kitchener. The Rangers' Mario Culina held off a late 67's charge allowing only Tye Felhaber to score in the final minute of the game.

Erie 4 Guelph 0

The Storm were no match for rookie netminder Daniel Murphy as they were shut out 4-0 by the Erie Otters. Murphy earned his first career OHL shut out with a 28 save performance.

The Otters offense was led by Chad Yetman with a pair of goals. Emmett Sproule set up two for the Otters.

Other scorers: Gera Poddubnyi and Owen Headrick.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
