Howick Mutual Insurance Turns Ground At New Office Site

A soil-turning ceremony was held Wednesday for the new Howick Mutual Insurance office being built in Morris-Turnberry.

The new building is being constructed on the site of the old Turnberry Public School, and will combine two Howick Mutual offices, including the one in Wroxeter, where the company has been based for the last 140 years.

Howick Board Chair Mark Hamel sinks into a part of the new construction area due to wet ground.

Domm Construction has the contract for the new build and expects steel to be arriving within the next couple of weeks.

The building is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
