Plane Flips On Landing In Tobermory

A Cambridge man walked away from a plane crash at the Tobermory Airport.

However, the plane did not fair too well.

The lone pilot was trying to land the Cesena 172 Skyhawk Monday night around 8pm, but it flipped over when it touched down.

Police say there was a lot of snow on the runway at the time.

The plane is owned by a company in Breslau.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
