Winter Weather Returns

Snow is expected to return to the Huron-Perth and Waterloo-Wellington areas over the next 24 hours.

Environment Canada's special weather statement indicates rain changing to snow later today as a low-pressure system approaches the Great Lakes.

Brisk winds will begin to pull in colder air from the north later this afternoon.

The special weather statement also blankets areas south, including London and Sarnia-Lambton as well as areas east along the Hwy. 401 corridor.

Snowfall amounts could range between 10 cm and 15 cm.

Things look to be a little calmer in the Bruce-Grey region with no special statement effect.

There is still the possibility of snow, but only a dusting is expected.
