Search For 3-Year-Old Expands Along Grand River

Hundreds of volunteers continued their search over the weekend for a 3-year-old that went missing in late February near Orangeville.

Kaden Young was pulled from his mother's arms and swept into the Grand River during the flooding that happened in the area on February 21s.

According to the Facebook page, 'Bring Kaden Young Home To His Family', 600 volunteers joined the search on Saturday as it expanded into the floodplains.

The search continues Monday at 9am.

There are also a number of fundraisers being held including decals being made available at multiple businesses across the region.

The blue ribbon decals have Kaden's name printed on them and can be purchased at businesses in various communities including Mount Forest, Arthur, Hanover, Walkerton, Teeswater and Wingham.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
