Clifford wants to be a little more welcoming.

Vic Palmer of the Clifford and District Horticultural Society asked Minto council to endorse a request for three new entrance signs to Minto. There are now two at the Hwy. 9 entrances.

Palmer said the Society wants to make sure anyone entering Clifford knows they are “welcome”.

Minto council liked the idea and promised to take the matter to Wellington County council which owns the entrance roads in question.
