Break-In At Seaforth Public School Being Investigated

Recent elementary school break-ins continue to be investigated by the OPP.

The most recent occurred at Seaforth Public School located on Chalk St. N in Seaforth. Sometime between February 23 and 25, unknown suspects forced their way into a window at the school. Once inside, a number of electronics were stolen. That includes Seven HP Stream laptop computers (one has since been recovered), two Lenovo Chromebooks, three Apple Ipads, Apple chargers, one Sphero robot and a two-way radio set.

A total value of the stolen goods is unknown at this time.

Anyone with information is asked to call Huron County OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
