Hanover Police Arrest Suspect In Bank Break In

Hanover Police officers were called to the Scotia Bank where a man was reportedly smashing his way through the front doors.

Police arrived at the bank on the 800 block of 10th Street about 2 pm yesterday.

The bank was closed at the time, and officers found the front door glass completely smashed.

A suspect was found in an office area and taken into custody without incident.

Police have charged a 34-year-old man of no fixed address with Break, Enter and Mischief over $5,000.

He is being held for a bail hearing.

Hanover police say witnesses were quick to call the police.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
