The money will go to the Seniors Centre for Excellence which is supported by Minto, Mapleton and Wellington North.
Wellington North has set aside $50,000 in the 2018 budget for community-initiated projects such as the Seniors Centre for Excellence.
As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.
