Local Schools Mark Education Week

Most of the public and Catholic schools across our region will be presenting special events this week.

It's Education Week, which is used to recognize the continued efforts and collaboration of staff, parents and guardians, volunteers, community partners, and other stakeholders.

The Bluewater District School Board has adopted a theme of "Equity in Action". Students and staff will take part in activities that exemplify the board’s priority to "provide quality instruction and learning experiences in an equitable and inclusive environment."

Examples of activities occurring in Bluewater District schools will be featured throughout Education Week on the board’s website at www.bwdsb.on.ca, and on its Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Students, parents or guardians, staff, and community members are invited to share their examples of untold stories of equity in action occurring in Bluewater schools by posting on their social media accounts, using the hashtag #EdWeekBWDSB.
