High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

<p><div>The Seaforth Golf Club will host its second annual Women's Golf Day on Sunday, June 3rd.  There are now over 400 golf clubs in 28 different countries that host a Women's Golf Day.</p><p>
Seaforth organizer Robyn Doig says they are inviting all women and girls fifteen years of age and older to join them.   They don't have to have any experience, and clubs will be supplied for those who don't have their own.</p><p>
Doig says there's no charge for the day but they are asking for a donation for the Huron Residential Hospice.</p><p>
