Panovksi Trial Continues In Goderich

The first-degree murder trial of Boris Panovski is into its second week in Goderich.

The 73-year-old from Scarborough is charged in the fatal shooting of Don Frigo of Caledon and attempted murder in the wounding of his wife Eva at the Hullet Conservation Area in September of 2014.

In Thursday's testimony, a crown witness outlined the time and money involved in competitive bird dog training and what's involved at the professional level.

It's expected the trial could last eight to ten weeks.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
