Final Designs Submitted For New Markdale Hospital

Grey-Bruce Health Services submitted the final designs for the new Markdale Hospital Tuesday.

The final renderings were submitted to the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care today for approval, and Grey-Bruce Health Services expects to hear back from them by the end of the summer.

Upon approval, the project can move into the next phase, which would include tendering and awarding construction contracts.

Construction of the new Markdale hospital is expected to begin in 2020 and take about two years.
