OPP Lay Charges Stemming From Wild Prom Party

Several charges have been laid after a prom party got out of control last weekend near Walkerton.

Police responded to the 1100 block of concession 12 of Brant Township to find a large party in progress late Saturday night.

Two 18-year-olds and a 20-year-old were charged with liquor-related offences, while OPP say they're continuing to investigate four other assault incidents.

South Bruce OPP are asking for anyone with information to contact them.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
