UPDATE: Investigation Into Fatal Fire In Chesley Continues

Updated as of 4:30pm.

The investigation into what sparked a fatal fire continues in Chesley.

The Ontario Fire Marshal was on scene today.

While a GoFundMe page has been set up and identifies the family, police have not officially released the names of the three people who died in the blaze. The page has raised over $21,000 in 22 hours.

A mother and an infant had to be taken to hospital. But three other family members were unaccounted for -- a father and two children.

The investigation into what sparked a fatal fire continues in Chesley today.

Three bodies were recovered around 5:30pm Monday.

A neighbour had told CKNX News on Monday that the three people missing were a father and two children.

A mother and a baby escaped the fire and had to be taken to hospital.

Police haven't released any names.

Firefighters arrived to what was a fully engulfed structure fire early Monday morning.

The house next door was damaged and homes in the immediate vicinity had to be evacuated.
