Truck Thieves Strike In Blyth

A truck theft in Blyth is being investigated by Huron County OPP.

The victim says he had left his pickup truck in a parking lot behind a Queen St. establishment the night of Sunday, June 17. When he returned on Monday at 8am, the truck had been stolen.

The vehicle, a 2003 light green to grey looking 2003 Chevrolet Silverado, was locked at the time. It has 35 inch tires, a back-rack with antennas on both sides of the rack. The truck also has a rusty box and a loud muffler.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of this vehicle should contact Huron County OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
