UPDATE: Owen Sound Man Reported Missing

Police are asking for the public's help to locate a missing 55-year-old man from Owen Sound.

The Owen Sound Police Service originally said Terry Schope was last seen Monday morning at the hospital in Owen Sound.

Investigators have now determined that he was last seen Tuesday at his home.

Police are hoping to locate Schope to check on his wellbeing.

Schope is described as a Caucasian male, 5’8” tall, 150 lbs, with a thin build, blue eyes and brown/grey receding hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue and white t-shirt and a baseball cap.

Schope has no means of transportation but is known to hitch-hike and walk long distances. Police says he may be in the Berkley, Holland Centre area or the Walkerton area.

Anyone with information regarding this man's whereabouts is asked to contact the Owen Sound Police Service at 519-376-1234.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
