Search Continues For Terry Schope

Police in Owen Sound are asking area residents to help in the search for a 55-year-old man who's been missing for ten days.

Terry Schope was last seen at his residence in Owen Sound by a family member on the morning of Tuesday, June 19.  At that time, he was wearing blue jeans, a blue and white t-shirt and a baseball hat.

He has no means of transportation and often hitchhikes to Berkley, Holland Centre, or the Walkerton area.

Police are asking residents to check their property and outbuildings for any sign that Terry is, or was there.  There are concerns about his well being.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
