No Foul Play Suspected In Mount Forest Investigation

An update on the human remains found in Mount Forest this week.

The preliminary forensic examination has concluded and there are no indications of foul play. But investigators are still waiting for the remains to be identified.

In the meantime, the OPP is treating the incident as isolated and contained and the investigation is ongoing.

The remains were found in a wooded area in a ravine near the intersection of North Water and John streets late Tuesday morning.
