UPDATE: OPP Investigating Serious Crash In Grey-Highlands

Grey County OPP say a 54-year-old Markdale woman is in serious condition after a crash in Grey-Highlands.

At 9:30am Tuesday morning, emergency crews were called to the scene on Hwy. 10, southeast of Markdale.

An SUV and a pick-up truck collided and the female driver of one of the vehicles was airlifted to a nearby trauma centre. A local Grey-Highlands male was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The OPP confirm that both drivers were the lone occupants in the respective vehicles. The cause of the crash is being investigated.

Hwy. 10 was closed between Main St. and Road 120 in Markdale but has since reopened.
