Georgian Bay Fire and Safety along with Boston Pizza Owen Sound have won 2018 Fire Marshals Public Fire Safety Council Fire Safety Awards.
Owen Sound Fire and Emergency Services have announced that Boston Pizza and Georgian Bay Fire and Safety were two of 12 Safety Awards winners recently announced at a gala lunch in Toronto.
Georgian Bay Fire and Safety have collaborated with the Owen Sound Fire and Emergency Services for more than a decade and now supplies movie tickets as an incentive for students to learn about fire safety at city elementary schools. Students who complete the project are entered into a draw for the tickets.

This promotion reaches all of the students from Grades 1 to 6 within the City of Owen Sound, which is more than 1,000 students annually.
