Corey Volland, 29, is charged with second-degree murder in the death of 27-year-old Laura Wigelsworth.
She failed to return home from a walk in May, and her body was later found on Front Rd. in Vanastra.
The pair had planned to marry this month.
Volland's case was put over during an appearance Monday.
