High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

Listowel's Corey Conners is looking for another chance to lock up a PGA Tour card for the 2019 season after finishing the Wyndham Championship in a tie for 45th place.
The 26-year-old finished with an 8-under 272. Conners is ranked 130th in the FedEx Cup Rankings, falling just five places short of locking up a spot on the tour for next season.
He will still have the chance to play in 15 events next season on the tour because he finished better than 150th in the rankings.
Conners can enter the Web.com Tour finals next week to play for one of 25 PGA Tour cards.
