Bruce County Moves EarlyOn From Walkerton

Bruce County's EarlyOn Child and Family Centres will run in four main sites in September.

Staff worked with community partners this summer to realign services and develop a plan for community-based programs for children and families.

The program will align with the Ministry of Education's "School's First" focus for EarlyOn locations.

The County is working with the Bluewater District School Board and the Bruce Grey Catholic School Board to operate the sites in Chesley, Kincardine, Port Elgin and Wiarton.

That's a change from the former program, which featured the main site in Walkerton, serving Formosa, Mildmay, Paisley and Chesley, and satellite locations in Port Elgin, Wiarton, and Kincardine.
