Clinton Home Ransacked

An investigation is underway by Huron County OPP after a break, enter and theft that occurred in Clinton sometime during the last week.

Police report the Rattenbury St. homeowner returned home to find the house had been ransacked. Among the stolen items were a Toshiba surround sound system, a Royal Canadian Airforce uniform hat and some Euro currency.

Investigators believe the theft took place sometime between August 13 and August 20, 2018.

Members from the OPP Mount Forest Identification Services (FIS) unit were expected to be on site on Tuesday to help assist with the investigation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
