Conners Joins Web.com Tour to Improve Priority Number

Listowel's Corey Conners is trying to improve his priority number by joining the Web.com Tour.

Conners is playing in the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship and started the tournament with a 3-under 68. He is tied for 13th following the opening round along with fellow Canadian Ryan Yip.

Conners missed qualifying for a full 2019 PGA Tour Card but can still earn the right play in several events next season if he can improve his number.

Henrik Norland of Sweden leads the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship at 7-under 64.

Play resumes this morning in Columbus, Ohio.

**Corrects a previous version that erroneously stated Conners was trying to improve his FedEx Cup Ranking.
